Shropshire Council Arts Grants

The new Shropshire Council Arts Grants scheme has now been launched and is open for applications. Please see below: Application Form, Application Criteria and Guidance Sheet.

Please note there will be two grant rounds throughout the year:

  • Round One, deadline will be 8th March each year (decision by 19th April).
  • Round Two, deadline will be 6th September each year (decision by 18th October).

If you require support or advice in completing your application, please contact the relevant Arts Development Officer at least two weeks prior to the application deadline. Please Contact: Jenny Henrywood if you are based in South Shropshire, Sue Goodwin if you are based in the Central area (Shrewsbury) and Alexa Pugh if you are based in North Shropshire. When you apply for funding from the Shropshire Council Arts Grants you will be required to have a number of policies. Templates and guidance for these are below. If you have any questions on adopting these policies please contact an Arts Development Officer for help and guidance.

Please note that all of these templates are given as a guideline only and you must make them appropriate to your organisation. Please ensure that any new policies that you adopt are voted on and accepted by your board and signed by board members. You will also need to state within your policies when they will be reviewed. The usual timetable for reviewing policies is every one to three years.
